Actor Sushant Singh was found dead on 14 June 2020 in his Bandra house.
In the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Disha Salian’s father’s lawyer Nilesh C. Ojha said that the CBI closure report does not legally hold special importance. The court can order further investigation by taking cognizance of this.
Ojha said- no clean chit has been given. Some people are running a false nectar. If the court wants, he can order arrest in this case or get further investigations, as in the Aarushi Talwar case.
In fact, the Bombay High Court has fixed April 2 for hearing the petition of the case. At the same time, Aditya Thackeray described the allegations against himself as false and said that he will answer in the court itself.

CBI’s closure report-No proof of murder in Sushant case
In the Sushant Singh Rajput Death case, CBI filed a final closure report on March 23, 4 years 6 months and 15 days after 4 years 6 months and 15 days. In which the investigating agency has said that no evidence has been found to incite Sushant for suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found mysteriously dead at his home in Bandra on 14 June 2020. The investigation into the matter was handed over to the CBI due to the pressure of media and opposition parties. Now in the last report of the CBI, suicide has been described as the real cause of death.
Riya Chakraborty had to stay in jail for 27 days in this case. After the final report came out by the CBI, Riya’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde issued a statement saying that many false stories were made in the case. Despite this, Riya and her family kept silent and endured everyone.

Initially, Disha’s father had confidence in the Mumbai Police’s investigation, but later felt that it was only a ‘cover-up’ operation. After this, on 20 March 2025, Satish Salian filed a petition in the Bombay High Court regarding a fresh investigation into the daughter’s death. He has demanded to register an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and hand over the case to CBI.
