Bullet Train in India: Bullet train will run soon in India, Railways gave a big update regarding Mumbai-Ahmedabad Corridor

The Railway Ministry said on Thursday that the stations of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Train Corridor, also known as the Bullet Train Project are to be completed. In a post on ‘X’, Indian Railways announced that these stations will give new definition to passenger comfort and set new standards for passengers. The ‘X’ post states that the bullet train stations on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor in Gujarat are about to be completed almost. With modern design, cultural identity, uninterrupted connectivity and environment-friendly features, these stations will give new definition to passenger comfort and set new standards of travel.

Earlier, on August 6, Indian Railways had informed that the construction of the bridge over the Vishwamitri River in Vadodara district of Gujarat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has been completed. The Railway Ministry said on Wednesday that this is the seventeenth river bridge out of the 21 river bridges proposed in Gujarat for this project. This 80 meter long bridge is located near the Vadodara-Surat main line of Western Railway. The bridge has three pillars, one of which is located in the stream of the river and the other two on the banks of the river (each side).

This bridge passing through the urban landscape of Vadodara acts as an important infrastructure component in Vadodara district. Vadodara is one of the busiest urban centers, and the construction of a bridge passing through the city required an extraordinary plan and coordination with Vadodara Municipal Corporation and other local authorities. The route of the bullet train crosses/rotates the Vishwamitri river at 9 different places in and around Vadodara. Apart from the main river bridge, three of the remaining eight crossings have already been completed, while construction work is going on at other crossings. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor has 25 river bridges, out of which 21 are in Gujarat and 4 in Maharashtra.
