BSF foiled the attempt of Pakistani smugglers to send drugs to Punjab. According to information, on the night of February 9 and 10, Pakistani drones attempted to infiltrate into the Indian border.

After this, the BSF jawans have recovered about 3 kg of heroin, 1 Chinese-made pistol, cartridges and a magazine in Ferozepur sector during the search operation.

According to information, BSF personnel were on patrol at BOP MW North of Sector Ferozepur on Thursday-Friday night. Meanwhile, they heard the sound of the drone. The jawans started firing after hearing the sound. Meanwhile, it was estimated that something was dropped by drone.

After some time, the drone again went into the Pakistani border. After which the BSF jawans started a search operation in the area. A yellow colored packet was seized during the search. Along with this, a Chinese-made pistol has also been recovered by the BSF. After the security check, when the packet was opened, it contained 3 kg. After taking possession of it, the BSF has started the investigation.
