KT Rama Rao, executive president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi, said on Saturday that even after 22 months in power, the Congress government of Telangana has not fulfilled a single election promise. He was talking to the media after BRS started the statewide ‘Congress outstanding card’ campaign. BRS leaders said that the Congress had given guarantee cards, which was assured of 6 guarantee within 100 days. Even after 700 days have passed, those 6 guarantees have not been implemented. He said that BRS will distribute two crore Congress outstanding cards across the state.

KTR said that through this campaign, BRS will try to highlight how indebted to the Congress is to every section of the society. KTR said, “Today the Congress is a great indebted to every person in Telangana. The farmers were promised that they would be given their guarantee cards … Even after 22 months, the Congress government has not fulfilled a single promise.” He said, “Today we have issued the outstanding card of the Congress. We are trying to highlight how indebted to the Congress is to every section of the society. We are trying to spread this card to everyone in Telangana.”
As soon as the local body elections in the state come close, BRS has intensified the criticism of the Congress government.
