Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that India is committed to BRICS as an important platform for cooperation among emerging economies. He left for a week -long visit to five countries including Brazil, where he will attend the meeting of this block. Modi said in his departure statement, “We together are trying to create a more peaceful, equal, justified, democratic and balanced multipolar global system.”
