BREKING: Rahul Dravid becomes Team India’s head coach, BCCI announces


The Indian cricket team has got a new coach, former cricketer Rahul Dravid will now take over. Ravi Shastri’s tenure is coming to an end after the T20 World Cup, in which case Rahul will take his place.

The BCCI had been in talks with Rahul Dravid for a long time, but Rahul had earlier refused to accept the post. However, after a meeting in the UAE some time ago, Rahul Dravid had applied for the post of head coach and has now been appointed as the head coach of Team India.

Rahul Dravid has issued a statement after becoming the coach of Team India. On behalf of Rahul Dravid, it has been said that it is a matter of great pride to be the coach of Team India. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly also issued a statement on the occasion. “We welcome Rahul Dravid, his record as a player is excellent and he is one of the great players,” said Sourav Ganguly. There are going to be two World Cups in the next two years, so the former Indian captain is the right choice.
