BCCI President Sourav Ganguly also issued a statement on the occasion. “We welcome Rahul Dravid, his record as a player is excellent and he is one of the great players,” said Sourav Ganguly. There are going to be two World Cups in the next two years, so the former Indian captain is the right choice.
