Delhi’s Taj Palace received a bomb threat on Saturday by an email, which was later described as a rumor. A Taj Palace spokesperson said, “After intensive security check, government officials have said that the incident was a rumor. Security of our guests and employees is paramount for us and we are constantly alert. The incident took place on Friday after a high alert was issued after the bomb threatened by email in the Delhi High Court premises, after which the entire court complex was immediately vacated.

This dangerous message sent on the official email ID of the court claimed that an explosive equipment was installed in the judge’s room and would be explored immediately after the afternoon prayers.
He said that on receiving the information, several teams of Delhi Police, including bomb disposal squad, search dog squad and quick response team (QRT), immediately reached the spot.
The official said, “We reached the hotel and conducted a widespread search operation. A thorough investigation was conducted with the help of all public areas, parking sites, lobby and rooms bomb disposal equipment and investigative dogs. ”A senior police officer said that nothing suspect was found and the threat was declared a rumor.

Police said the cyber teams are trying to find the email sender. The incident occurred a day after the Delhi High Court received a similar bomb threat through email.
