Businessman and socialite Sanjay Kapoor, who was once married to Bollywood star Karishma Kapoor, died on June 12 at the age of 53. According to ANI, the industrialist allegedly suffered a heart attack, just a few hours after a shocking incident in which he accidentally swallowed a bee during a polo match.
While many people remember her from her high-profile marriage with Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay had forgotten that chapter long ago. Her later year, with model and actress Priya Sachdev, who was first married to hotelier Vikram Chatwal, with whom she created a family and quiet life. Sanjay and Karishma got married in a grand ceremony in 2003, which became one of the most talked about Bollywood weddings of that time. They had two children: Adhara, born on March 11, 2005 and Qian, who was born on 12 March 2011. However, by 2014, cracks began to appear and the couple filed an application for divorce. In 2016, their marriage was officially dissolved.
