Body trade gang busted at Spa in Navi Mumbai, 15 women rescued

Police have rescued 15 women from there, busting the body trade gang operated at a spa in Navi Mumbai. The officers provided this information. Officials said the owner of the spa and another person have been arrested. On receiving the information, the police sent a fake customer at the spa located in Belapur area on 27 September and later raided the spa.

A release issued by the police stated that 15 women were rescued during the raid, one of which is from Nepal and others from Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Gujarat.

Spa owner (32) and an employee (42) were arrested. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused under the Code of India and Immoral Trade (Prevention) Act.
