The administration has withdrawn the order of blackout at the district Sangrur in Punjab. This decision has been taken after the declaration of ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

Earlier, the district administration issued information in the afternoon. It was ordered a blackout from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. During this time there were instructions to keep all markets closed and not lighting lights. Only medical and essential services were to be operational. People were appealed to stay in homes.

ADC Amit Bangi said that life will now be normal. He has appealed to the people to contact the control room number 01672-234128, 80525-45100, 80525-45200 for necessary information. Also inform the administration about those who spread rumors. Action will be taken against such people.
