According to British media, the aircraft crashed was ‘Beach Craft B 200 Super King’ which was equipped with medical systems to carry patients. It was a small aircraft 12 meters (39 feet) tall. Emergency services and aircraft accident investigators are on the spot and all flights from the airport have been canceled until next information. Pictures shared by the British media shows a fire ball in the air over 35 miles (56 km) east from London. Labor MP David Burton-Sampson from South & West and Leh wrote on X, “My condolences are with all the people associated with this incident.” Matt Dent, a cabinet member of business, culture, music and tourism at the South & City Council, also wrote on X, “At the moment I just know that a small aircraft has crashed at the airport. My condolences are with all the people associated with the incident and emergency services working on the incident.”
