Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and municipal councilors were found hanging in their office room on Saturday morning. Police gave this information. Councilor K. Anil Kumar from Tirumala ward was found hanging from the noose at nine in the morning and is a suspicious case of suicide. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
Local people said that Anil Kumar was seen in the office in the morning and was later found dead. According to the report of television channels, he was worried about financial problems in a cooperative society in his leadership.
The report also claimed that a suicide note was recovered from his body, which has comments against BJP leaders. However, the police have not confirmed whether the suicide note has been recovered or not.
A police officer said, “The case is being investigated.” In this case, the president of the district unit of BJP V.V. Rajesh said that Anil Kumar was troubled by financial problems.
