The state government is constantly making efforts to provide better benefits to the farmers. Promoting mushroom cultivation is one of these efforts of the government. The Agriculture Department has invited online applications for the scheme of mushroom components (mushroom kits and mushrooms) under the state scheme (2025-26). It is necessary to apply soon to take advantage of this, because the benefit of this scheme will be given on the basis of first come first served.

For the production of mushrooms, grants are being provided on mushroom kits such as Paddy/Oelers, Button Mushroom Kit, Bucket Mushroom Kit and Hut Construction. The unit cost is Rs 75 per kit for Paddy/Oelers Mushroom Kit, on which farmers will be given a grant of 90 percent ie Rs 67.50 per kit. At the same time, the unit cost for button mushroom kit is Rs 90 per kit, on which 90 percent grant will be given to farmers i.e. 81 U per kit. There will be a minimum of 25 kits and maximum 100 kits per farmer.
90 percent grant on bucket mushroom kit
The unit cost for bucket mushroom kit is Rs 300 per kit, on which farmers will be given a grant of 90 percent grant i.e. Rs 270 per kit. Under this component, the benefit of minimum 02 kits and maximum 10 kits per farmer will be given. Beneficiaries of paddy/oele mushroom kit or button mushroom kit will also be able to take advantage of this component.

89,750 grant on hut construction
Farmers are also being given grants for hut construction for mushroom production. The unit cost for hut construction is Rs 1,79,500, on which farmers will be given 50 percent grant ie 89,750 grant for construction of a hut. The benefit of a maximum of 01 (one) hut per farmer will be given. The hut is to be constructed in 1,500 sq ft as per the plan for mushroom production. To take advantage of this scheme, it will be mandatory to take all components straw, spawn and poly bags, tools and other ingredients with hut construction.
