Bihar Election 2025: Lalu Yadav distributed RJD tickets, Tejashwi expresses displeasure

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has given party tickets to his favorite candidates even before the formal announcement of seat sharing. After reaching Patna on Monday, a huge crowd had gathered outside Lalu Yadav’s residence. It is being told that after receiving the phone call from the party, many potential candidates started arriving and after some time, they were seen coming out carrying the election symbol of RJD.
According to available information, Sunil Singh, who had left JDU from Parbatta, and former MLA from Matihani Narendra Kumar Singh alias Bogo have got the ticket. There is news that Lalu Yadav’s decision has angered his son and Grand Alliance President Tejashwi Yadav. He stopped the ticket distribution late at night and asked the leaders who were given symbols to return them.
Tejashwi Yadav told his father that the seat sharing of the alliance has not been agreed upon yet, hence the release of photographs and videos of the candidates can give a wrong message to the fellow parties. Let us tell you that Lalu Yadav has earlier also distributed tickets before the consent of the alliance, although last time Congress and Left parties had finally reached an agreement.
It is noteworthy that on Monday evening, Tejashwi Yadav met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi and discussed seat sharing. KC in the meeting Venugopal and Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru were also present. According to sources, the formal announcement of seat sharing by the Grand Alliance can be made by Tuesday evening, as Tejashwi is going to file nomination from Raghopur on Wednesday.
According to the information, this time Congress is likely to get less seats than last time. On the NDA side, JDU and BJP will contest on 101 seats each, while Chirag Paswan’s party will contest on 29 seats. Bihar Assembly elections are to be held in two phases on November 6 and 11 and counting of votes will be done on November 14.
