Bihar Double Murder: Tejashwi’s allegation, power protected criminals are doing bloodshed, targeted at Modi

RJD leader and Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the recent double murder in Arrah, Bihar, alleging that the crime was committed by “power-protected criminals”. In a post on X, Yadav alleged that NDA candidates are causing “a lot of bloodshed” in the state ahead of the assembly elections. Taking aim at Prime Minister Modi, Yadav asked him to mention “Jungle Raj” in his speech.

Tejashwi Yadav posted on Please do mention “Jungle Raj” in your speech. Your candidates are causing a lot of bloodshed. Father and son were killed by unknown assailants in Arrah (Bhojpur district) of Bihar. Police are investigating the matter to find out the reason for the incident.

Speaking to ANI on Friday, Ara Sadar SDPO Raj Kumar Sah said, “We received information about the incident in the morning and immediately reached the spot. We are investigating the incident. They were father and son.” Asked if the incident was election-related, the officer said, “No, it is not. As per preliminary information, their engagement was scheduled in 1-2 days. We will know the reason only after investigation.” Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Dularchand Yadav, a supporter of Jan Suraj, was killed in a clash between two groups during campaigning for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in Mokama, Bihar.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav condemned the violence in Mokama. Speaking to reporters, Yadav stressed that there is no place for violence in democratic countries. He also raised questions on the action taken by the administration and the Election Commission in connection with this incident. Yadav said that there should be no place for violence in democracy. We wonder how a convoy of 40 vehicles can move around with weapons? What is the Election Commission doing? What is the administration doing? What action has been taken so far?… A murder has taken place, there are many witnesses… but the administration is silent,… no investigation is being done… who is protecting the goons?
