Another big revelation has come about former DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar of Punjab’s Ropar range, who was arrested in a bribery case. The CBI investigation revealed that Bhullar went to Dubai about 10 times while on duty. The CBI has seized Bhullar’s passport and is gathering details of his foreign travels through it.
According to official CBI sources, Bhullar has also got two flats in Dubai and three in Canada so far. Apart from this, the CBI has also received information about around 55 acres of land in Ludhiana and 20 shops in Machiwara area. The CBI suspects that Bhullar acquired properties abroad during his tenure.

CBI sources say that the agency is now probing the source of all these properties and whether they were purchased in someone else’s name. More revelations about Bhullar’s properties are likely in the coming days.
