Rajasthan Police got a major breakthrough on Tuesday and Amit Pandit, a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang, was arrested from the US. Police said that the accused will be brought to India soon. Giving information, ADG Crime Dinesh MN said that with this arrest the path to arresting Rohit Godara, who was hiding abroad, may become easier. Earlier, Rajasthan Police had included several gangsters including Rohit Godara, Goldie Brar in the list of most wanted criminals of the state.

Releasing the list of top 25 most wanted criminals, Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Dinesh MN said that we have resolved to strengthen law and order in the state and restore public confidence. These 25 criminals are a big threat to the society and their arrest is our top priority. This latest list also includes 12 new criminals, who are wanted for various heinous crimes and on whom a reward of lakhs of rupees has been declared.

Some current and former members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang also top the list. Rohit Godara alias Rawataram, who is wanted in 20 cases of murder, robbery and robbery, is on top and carries a reward of Rs 1 lakh by the Rajasthan Police and Rs 5 lakh by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). After releasing the list, the ADG said that all police officers including Jaipur and Jodhpur Police Commissioners, all Range Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Commissioners of Police, all District Superintendents of Police, GRP and ATS/SOG have been instructed to make concerted efforts to arrest these identified criminals.
