The Punjab Police has exposed an international weapon smuggling gang. In a joint operation conducted by counter intelligence Ferozepur / Faridkot and SSOC Fazilka, the Indo-Pakistan international border exposed a weapon trafficking network and two accused were arrested.
Police arrested two weapon suppliers from Fazilka region and 27 illegal pistols (.30 bored) and 470 borefalls recovered.
While processing an information, the police team started a joint operation near the Indo-Pakistan border near Fazilka. Meanwhile, two suspects were arrested in Man Singh Miscellaneous Hindi Number 3 and Gurmeet Singh resident village Sendar Fazilka.

The probe came to the arms that a foreign gang was committed to Punjab from Pakistan to Punjab. These would be used to focus criminal activities in the state. Arrested accused were to deliver these weapons to the activists of various criminal groups. Police said the investigation was on to identify foreign networks and others involved in it. Further action is being taken to expose a weapon supply chain and the entire module.
