Jharkhand News: On the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, surprise inspection of Public Distribution System (PDS) shops across the state has been done by the officials appointed at the district level. In this order, 63 in Lohardaga, 56 in Giridih, 66 in Pakur, 39 in Seraikela-Kharsawan, 80 in Hazaribagh, 46 in Ramgarh, 40 in Deoghar, 62 in Dhanbad, 166 in Dumka, 117 in Palamu, 78 in Bokaro, Godda 94 in Sahebganj, 38 in Latehar, 13 in Simdega, 36 in West Singhbhum, 55 in East Singhbhum, 53 in Gumla, 93 in Ranchi, 50 in Koderma, 51 in Khunti and 65 in Chatra inspected. During the inspection mainly ration cards, distribution, grain lifting, number of card holders, stock, matching register and official documents were closely examined.
