When Neelam Giri walked out of ‘Bigg Boss’ 19 house, she did not expect such an emotional reaction. When he saw his housemates crying, he realized how much he had earned during his time on the show, which, according to him, was much more valuable.The Bhojpuri actress admitted that she never thought that people would cry so much during and after her departure. Describing ‘Bigg Boss 19’ as the biggest milestone of her career, Neelam said that the show gave her everything she could have expected.

Talking about what’s next, 28-year-old Neelam said that she is already looking forward to working in Hindi films or more reality shows on TV.In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Neelam said, “It was then that I realized that I have earned friendship, relationships and respect here. Their sentiments gave me even more validation.”
She said, “Out of all the work I have done so far, I would give it the first place. I have got a lot from ‘Bigg Boss’. Coming to this show was a big moment in my career. While everyone wants to win, I consider myself a winner because I was able to survive the competition for 11 weeks. This is no small achievement.”

Outside the house, the actress said she was touched by the positive response she received from fans and well-wishers. He said he was told that he played the game with all his heart and everyone liked him as a person.
Neelam admitted that she was not surprised when Pranit More did not save her, even though many expected him to do so.
Neelam said, “As soon as Praneet got power, I realized that he will not save me because his friends are his priority. I thought he would save Abhishek Bajaj. I think most of the housemates thought the same, but unfortunately he saved Ashnoor Kaur. He came under a lot of pressure and took this decision. But Abhishek is a good guy and he was a very strong contestant.”
Neelam’s friendship with Tanya Mittal was one of the highlights of this season. While many people questioned the authenticity of their friendship, Neelam said that it was a true relationship. She also laughingly said that she was not trying to pry into Tanya’s big talk, because it didn’t matter to her that she was lying about her status.
Neelam also responded to comments on social media that she was often made to do work for others inside the house, especially by Amaal Malik and Shehbaz Badesha. She said, “When we live in our homes with our families, don’t we make tea for each other, or cook something when someone is hungry? I am like that at home, with my family and friends. And I was like that in the show too. I have no shame in it. I took care of them because I wanted to.”
Host Salman Khan was often seen telling Neelam that she had no distinct identity in the show, and Neelam took this seriously. Neelam said, “If Salman sir is saying something, there must be some reason or the other. I didn’t get the chance because I was out before I could work on it. Whenever sir told me something, I used to focus on my hard work. I tried to create my own game, my own connections, and that’s why I was able to last so long.”
Next, Neelam talked about fellow contestant Farhana Bhatt, who was saved along with Gaurav Khanna based on votes this week. Neelam, 28, said, “She has a very strong personality. She is a very simple girl, which works in her favor in the game. I also know that she doesn’t hate me.”
Neelam further added, “Whatever she did (tearing her family’s letter for captaincy) or whatever fights we had, it was all for the game. I think not just her, Amal, Shahbaz, Tanya, GK, Praneet, Malti or Ashnoor, everyone is giving their best, and any one of them can win.”
Finally, the actress opened up about her future work plans. She said, “I want to move my career forward from here. I’m looking forward to all the work that comes my way.”
