The Indian Army Field Hospital team returned to Hindon Air Force Base and the Indian Army team sent to India to provide medical assistance to the earthquake victims returned to India late on Tuesday night. Under Operation Brahma, the Indian team was posted in Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar.

Brigadier Naveen Kumar, Commander of 50 Parachute Brigade, said that there were 123 members in the team. These included surgeons, trauma care experts, lab technicians, X-ray unit and all the necessary people for life saving surgery. We performed around 65 major surgery.
