The Manipur police said on Friday that security forces have arrested nine militants associated with several banned organizations from three districts. He said that four members of the Kanglipak Communist Party (MFL) were arrested from Thobal district and three members of the United National Liberation Front (Pambai) were arrested from Thobal district.
At the same time, a member of the Kanglipak Communist Party (Noon) was arrested from Imphal East district and a militant from KCP (PWG) from Bishnupur. Ammunition including indigenous pistols and grenades was seized from the militants.
