The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS )’s former Sarkaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi on Monday denied the news of differences between RSS and Prime Minister Modi. He said- all this is the gift of the media. Appreciating the work of the Prime Minister, he said that he is doing many great things and supporting him.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut claimed in Mumbai that RSS will decide the successor of Prime Minister Modi. He also claimed that PM Modi would successor Maharashtra.

Raut said that PM Modi visited the RSS headquarters on the last day to discuss his retirement plan. He referred to the BJP’s policy of retiring at the age of 75 years. PM Modi will also complete the age of 75 years in September this year.

On the previous day, PM Modi reached the RSS headquarters for the first time after becoming Prime Minister. He is the second PM to visit the RSS headquarters. Prior to him, Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited there in 2000 during the third term as PM. This is also the third term of PM Modi.

Fadnavis said- Culture is not discussed on succession while father’s alive On Raut’s statement, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that PM Modi will continue to lead the country for many years. Talking to the media in Nagpur, Fadnavis said- In 2029, we will see Modiji again as Prime Minister. There is no need to find his successor. He is our leader and will continue in office. It is not right to discuss succession while being active of the leader.

It is unfair to talk about succession when the father is alive in our culture. This is Mughal culture. The time has not come to discuss this. Speaking to reporters on Monday, Raut claimed that the RSS wants a change in political leadership in the country.
