An Air Force employee allegedly committed suicide by an Air Force employee stationed at the Indian Air Force base in Amla near Betul, Madhya Pradesh. A police officer gave this information on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Nischal Jharia said that Saroj Kumar Das, an Air Force jawan stationed at Amla station, about 30 km from the district headquarters, shot himself late on Thursday.
He said, he lived alone in Amla here, while his family was in his home state of Odisha. After the wife came from there, post -mortem was done during the day. The body has been handed over to the family members.
Subdivisional Police Officer (SDOP) SK Singh and Additional Superintendent of Police Kamla Joshi said that investigation is being done to find out the reasons for taking this step.
