This battery pack from Kona Electric takes about 6 hours to get fully charged. Although the 50 kW DC fast charger will charge this car from 0 to 80 percent within just an hour, but at present these DC chargers are available only at Hyundai dealerships and Indian Oil stations in select cities. The car also comes with a 2.8 kW portable charger, which is a regular wall socket charger and takes about 19 hours to fully charge the car.

The car is equipped with four driving modes namely Eco, Eco Plus, Comfort and Sport. It gets paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, so that you can control the regenerative braking system at multiple levels. The electric car comes with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist control and vehicle stability management.
