BCCI Sichhav said on Wednesday that a better plan should have been made to celebrate RCB’s IPL victory. After RCB’s 18 -year waiting, winning the first IPL title was a festive atmosphere in the city which turned into gum today. Outside the stadium, millions of fans were gathered, which the police could not control.
Saikia told PTI that this is quite unfortunate. This is a negative aspect of popularity. People are crazy for their cricketers. The organizers should have planned better. My condolences to the families of the dead. I wish the injured to recover early.
He also said that, enough precaution should have been taken to organize this level of victory at this level and the security measures had to be taken into account. Somewhere there has been an omission. He said that after such an excellent end of the IPL, it got dissolved in color. Earlier, IPL victory has been celebrated as KKR won last year in Kolkata but nothing happened there.
