Barnala got Municipal Corporation status, MP Meet Hare distributed laddus, wards will be increased

Barnala Municipal Council has been converted into Municipal Corporation. There is an atmosphere of joy over the formation of Barnala Municipal Council. Member of Parliament Meet Hare celebrated the people by distributing laddus.

The Punjab government cabinet headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave this status on Tuesday. Barnala residents are also happy with this decision. On this occasion, Member of Parliament Meet Hare said that the formation of Barnala as a Municipal Corporation will prove to be a new milestone for development works. He thanked Chief Minister Mann and the entire AAP leadership for making Barnala a municipal corporation.

He said that the Barnala Municipal Council had passed the proposal to form a municipal corporation and sent it to the government a few days ago. A few days after this, Chief Minister Mann announced to make Barnala a Municipal Corporation. Meet Hare said that the notification for the formation of the municipal corporation will be passed in a few days and after that the warding of the city will be done. There are currently 31 wards in the city, which will be increased to 50.
