Bangladesh: Mohammad Yunus congratulated Janmashtami to Hindus, said- I am committed to maintain the unbreakable bond of harmony

Nearly a year after the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das Brahmachari, a prominent priest of ISKCON and spokesperson of Bangladesh Sanatani Jagran Jot, the interim government of Bangladesh greeted the Hindu community on the occasion of Janmashtami. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, released the message of peace and communal harmony. Yunus praised Lord Krishna’s ideals and described the message of his justice, human compassion and peace as important in the creation of a more harmonious society.

Mohammad Yunus, while giving fate, said that the teachings of Lord Krishna will help strengthen mutual harmony and brotherhood and maintain the current system and communal harmony in the country. The congratulations of Younus came to power after coming to power in August last year amidst widespread concerns about the incidents of frequent incidents of alleged attacks on their Aradhana sites. According to the news of the Government Bangladesh Samvad Sanstha (BSS), Younus said in a message that the values of Lord Krishna, focusing on the dedication to the Creator and the establishment of peace in the society, continue to inspire people of all religions.

He said that I call everyone to be vigilant so that no one can weaken the existing system, brotherhood and communal harmony in the society. I believe that the ideals and teachings of Lord Krishna will further strengthen the bond of mutual goodwill and brotherhood. Yunus said that communal harmony is a unique identity of the culture of Bangladesh and people here have maintained the “sense of strong harmony” by following their religions for centuries. He said that his interim government is committed to maintaining this unwavering bond of harmony.

Yunus said, “Come, we should create a new Bangladesh from our collective efforts and enriched a new Bangladesh.” The relations between India and Bangladesh came to a standstill after the Yunus -led interim government came to power in August last year. India has been expressing concern over attacks on minorities, especially Hindus in this neighboring country. There is a public holiday in Bangladesh to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna.
