A fire broke out in Square Mall Building on Tuesday in Bandra adjoining Mumbai. The fire broke into an electronic showroom located in the basement of a 4-storey mall, which gradually reached the fourth floor.
The fire at 4.10 am has not been extinguished yet. The rescue operation includes 13 fire brigade vehicles and a team of NDRF.
Municipal corporation spokesperson said- No one was reported injured at the scene, but the building next to the mall has been evacuated as caution.
The corporation official said that the fire was initially limited to the basement, but later it spread to the upper floors of the building. The dense black smoke coming out of the building was visible from a distance.
Mumbai Fire Brigade chief Ravindra Ambulgekar and other senior officials of the fire brigade have reached the spot and efforts are on to extinguish the fire.
At present, no one is trapped inside, the shopkeepers have lost crores in this accident. The shopkeepers are trying to remove the same.

NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui, who reached the spot after a fire in Bandra’s mall, accused the fire brigade and said-

We are here since 4 am, I want to say in clear words that this fire has increased due to the negligence of the fire brigade. We and common citizens are here from 4 am. There was a small spark in Croma in the basement. We requested them to bring more water, but they did not have equipment. Even if they had equipment, they were not coming to use them.
Zeeshan Siddiqui further said, ‘This is very unfortunate, I kept saying that there are restaurants and cylinders above, but I had no hearing from the fire department. The common citizen knows that this is the negligence of the fire brigade.
