According to provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind, passengers were abducted by several buses on Thursday evening. According to the report by the news agency Reuters, the attackers then took them to the nearby hilly area.Another government official, Naveed Alam said that the bodies of the victims were recovered overnight. He said, “His bodies with bullet marks remained in the mountains overnight.”
So far, no group has taken responsibility for the murders. However, similar incidents in the past have been linked to separatist Baloch militants, who have targeted people by identifying being from East Punjab province.
