Bajwa’s photo on objectionable advertisement, FIR lodged

[ad_1]

Partap Singh Bajwa’s photograph was used by an unknown person for an objectionable advertisement on Facebook. After getting this information, Bajwa has registered an FIR in Chandigarh Sector-17. He said that a conspiracy is being hatched to defame me.

A printout of the Facebook post with the complaint has also been placed in the police station of Chandigarh Sector-17, in which his photograph has been used. Police are trying to trace the IP address of the post after receiving the complaint.

The police have registered a case under sections 419, 469 (forgery and defamation using IT) and 500 (defamation) of the Indian Penal Code and section 66C of the Information Industry Act. Presently, a complaint has been filed by Pratap Singh Bajwa, but he has not yet given any reaction to the media.

Partap Singh Bajwa, MLA from Kadi Assembly Constituency wrote in the complaint that a Facebook post was found in which my photos were used for objectionable advertisements. My photo has been misused in such a way that it looks like I have taken a drug from the advertiser.

This post is also being circulated on social media… The person who used my photo knew very well that I had never received such treatment. Apparently, he also knew my real identity because I am a well-known person, who has been a Member of Parliament and an MLA.

This is a cheap trick by my political opponents or some people acting on their cues to defame me.
