Azaad Movie Review: Aman Devgan and Rasha Thadani’s love story is good but the story of the film weakens

Azad Movie Review: Azad has finally come to theaters. With Azad, two star kids are making Bollywood debut: one is Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, and the other is Ajay Devgan’s nephew, Aman Devgan. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film also stars Ajay Devgan, Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra and TV actor Mohit Malik. The Azad film does not name any of these actor, but it is the horse of Ajay Devgan’s character. The entire story of the film revolves around this horse. Get a detailed review of the film below in terms of acting, direction and other things.
Story
The story of the film is of the pre-independence era, where there is a careless village boy named Govind. The villages are occupied by the landlords, and one of these landlords has a beautiful daughter named Janaki. He wants to marry his daughter to the son of British Cumming, due to which he is fulfilling every demand of the British. He is also occupying the villages for the British and capturing them. Not only this, the villagers who are unable to pay taxes are being sent to South Africa by taking prisoners of the British.
Apart from this, the film also has a Messiah, Vikram Thakur. Azad has two love stories, one of Vikram Thakur and the other of Govind, which are set at different times. Things change in the film after Vikram Thakur’s death. This incident replaces Govind. The story ends with an interesting race, which Govind not only becomes the hero of his village, but also frees the villagers from taxes.

Acting
Aman Devgan has definitely worked hard for his first film, such as horse riding, dancing and more. Rasha Thadan also impresses her look, however, her screen time in the film is quite limited. The only weak aspect is the romantic chemistry between him and Aman Devgan. Meanwhile, both debutant actors have worked hard on their pronunciation, which is clearly reflected in the film. Ajay Devgan’s character will remind you of his character in ‘Diljale’. His death is the most important and emotional turn of the film.

Diana Penty has acted honestly, but her character does not have power. While Mohit Malik has shown amazing in a negative role, Piyush Mishra’s work was fine in the film. Directing Abhishek Kapoor has directed and written both the film. The film has been presented well on the big screen, but the story is a curvy. The same story of a rich girl and a poor boy, the atrocities of the rich and an unjust father who is marrying him against his daughter’s will.

Despite the strong acting, the story becomes cumbersome in many parts. The length of the film could be reduced, which is currently 2 hours 27 minutes. Direction is capable of praise in some places, emotional scenes are quite spectacular. Decision
Overall, the start of ‘Azad’ is weak and the film takes a long time to establish new people. Due to the lack of weak script and romantic angle, it is not very successful in attracting the audience. Nevertheless, strong acting in the film can be given a chance.
