AUS vs SA: Injured Kagiso Rabada out of ODI series, this 19 -year -old player gets a place in the team

South Africa suffered a shock before the ODI series against Australia when his fast bowler Kagiso Rabada got out due to an ankle injury.
The 30 -year -old Rabada was scanned on Monday, which confirmed his right ankle inflammation. Rabada will live with the team in Australia and will pass through rehabilitation.
Kevena Mafaka, who took the highest wicket in the T20 series last week, was included in the team in place of Rabada, but was not given a place in the playing XI for the first ODI.
Australia won the toss in the first ODI and decided to bowl first. The first match of the three ODIs is being played at Cairns’ Cazelly Stadium. After which the teams will go to McKay’s Great Barrier Reef Arena for the next two matches. Let me tell you, Australia had a tough T20 series 2–1.
Due to the available Rabada’s available and the left thumb surgery of Marco Yansen, South Africa now has the option of pacers such as Nandre Burger, Lungi Engidi and Mafaka. However, fast bowling all -rounder Corbin Bosch and Vian Mulder are also present in the squad. Their spin options are Keshav Maharaj, Senuran Muthusamy and Pranalin Subrayan.
