Security forces on Sunday in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir thwarted the attempt to infiltrate the Line of Control (LoC). Officials said the soldiers initiated action against the intruders after seeing suspicious activities along the Line of Control in Karen sector of Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
He said that it is believed that two intruders were killed in the shootout between the two sides. However, his bodies have not yet been recovered. According to officials, a search operation continues in the area.
