The people who are taking a meeting of officers of MCD, DJB, PWD and Dusib are Manish Gupta, the husband of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
Atishi also targeted the power cut and rising school fees being held in Delhi. He said- Rekha Gupta does not know how to handle work? For this reason, long power cuts are being done in Delhi every day? Private schools fees are increasing?
At the same time, in response, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva accused Atishi of making derogatory remarks. Sachdeva said that it is normal for any husband to support his wife. Sachdeva wrote on X – Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has reached this post with hard work and determination and it is absolutely common that family members are supporting him.

Atishi said- Chief Minister husband’s running government is very dangerous
Atishi said – We used to hear earlier that if the woman used to choose the sarpanch in the village, then the whole government work was handled by her husband. It was believed that the women of the village do not know how to handle government work, so the work would be handled by ‘sarpanch-husband’.
This practice was opposed, training was started to train the women sarpanches so that they could handle their responsibility. This must have happened for the first time in the history of the country that a woman became the Chief Minister and her husband is handling all the government work. She described the running of a Chief Minister-husband’s government as extremely dangerous.

Manish Gupta is a Delhi -based businessman. According to the affidavit submitted to Rekha Gupta’s Election Commission, Manish Gupta’s firm is named Nikunj Enterprises. He is also an agency associate in Kotak Life Insurance.
After becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta credited her success to her husband and said that her husband has given her a lot of support in her political journey.
