At least ten people died in Israeli firing in Gaza

Israeli forces opened fire near the two aid distribution centers run by the Israeli -backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) when hungry Palestinians gathered to take food.

At least 10 people died in this firing. Health officials gave this information on Saturday. About a week ago, Israel announced limited humanitarian aid and air aid due to international pressure amid increasing incidence of hunger children, which aims to deliver food to more than 2 million people of Gaza. But the United Nations, partners and Palestinians say that there is still little help, there has been a pile of supply for months outside Gaza and is waiting for Israel’s approval.

Eyewitnesses said that at least two people were killed in Shakosha area located hundreds of meters from the GHF operating site in the southern city of Rafa. Two bodies were brought to Nasir Hospital in nearby Khan Younis and several injured were admitted.

The Israeli army said that it was not aware of any firing by its army in the region. The GHF said that nothing happened near his bases. The Israeli army said on Friday that it was working to make its control routes safe.

Israel and GHF have claimed that the death toll has been exaggerated. Fores Aad, an ambulance and emergency service head of the Ministry of Health, said an Israeli attack took place on a group of Palestinians trying to secure aid trucks entering North Gaza from Israeli -controlled Jikim crossing, killing at least three people.

Nasir Hospital said that he had found five bodies after two separate attacks on the tents that give shelter to the displaced people in the south of Gaza. The ambulance of the Ministry of Health and Emergency Service said that the Israeli attack targeted a family house between Jaweda and Dir Al-Balah towns, killing two parents and three of their children.
