At least six people killed, many injured in explosion in northern Syria

An explosion in Idlib province of Northern Syria killed at least six people while several others were injured. The officials gave this information on Thursday.

No official statement about the cause of the explosion has come yet. The UK-based war monitoring organization Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the blast occurred at a depot in ammunition.

Syrian Civil Protection Team White Helmets reported that at least six people died in the explosion. The explosion occurred on Thursday in the city of Marat Misrin north of Idlib.

White helmets said in a statement, “This is only the death toll of those whose bodies have been recovered by the Syrian Civil Protection Team. The search for people trapped in the debris continues.
