Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday alleged that Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi visited Pakistan at the invitation of ISI. He also worked with the government there.
Sarma said- Gaurav Gogoi went there at the direct invitation of the Government of Pakistan and it was dangerous. He was working closely with the power of Pakistan. When does the Home Department send the invitation? This is only for training. Otherwise why would ISI invite him.
He said- what is it if it is not spy? Gogoi went there without telling the Government of India. He came back and opposed Rafael. Asked questions about security arrangements in the coastal route in Parliament, where India has kept its nuclear weapons. Who wrote these questions for you?
At the same time, Gogoi has described the allegations of Assam CM as nonsense. He posted a post on X, in which he said- I am on the radar of CM Sarma since coming to Assam, only they know why it is. Assam CM and BJP Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and his British wife Elizabeth Kalbourne are claiming to have relations with ISI. Sarma had claimed that Gogoi’s wife traveled between India and Pakistan 19 times. Gogoi’s wife takes salary from an NGO in Pakistan while living in India.

Gogoi went there at the direct invitation of Pakistan’s Home Department. The Assam government has evidence of Gogoi’s antics and there is no way to avoid it. All their routes have been closed.
