Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday denied rumors of President Asif Ali Zardari to resign, calling it a malicious campaign. Naqvi wrote on X that we are fully aware of who is behind this malicious campaign targeting President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief. He insisted that I have clearly stated that there has been no discussion nor such an idea about asking the President to resign or aspire to take over the President of the Army Chief.
