According to India Today, the competition will be held in two places of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Although the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has the rights to host, the tournament will be held at a neutral place due to the ongoing border tension between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Specific places for individual matches are yet to be finalized. Significantly, the previous version of the Asia Cup was held in the Hybrid model as India refused to visit Pakistan, the hosts of the 2023 tournament. Sri Lanka hosted nine matches, including the finals, while Pakistan hosted four matches.
