Former military died in a painful road accident in Raikot, Punjab. His granddaughter was also injured in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Ajit Singh, a resident of Kishangarh Chhanna Lakkha Singh Wala. Police reached the information of the case and filed a case against the driver

Car collided with the bike
According to the police, Ajit Singh was returning on a bike after purchasing household goods and books from Raikot along with his granddaughter Jasvir Kaur. Meanwhile, the speeding car coming from Raikot hit his bike. The collision was so strong that Ajit Singh fell far away. His head and legs suffered serious injuries in the accident. The injured were first taken to Raikot’s hospital.
Doctors declared dead
The doctors referred him to Ludhiana in view of Ajit Singh’s critical condition. Doctors declared him dead as soon as he reached Fortis Hospital in Ludhiana. ASI Gurpreet Singh of Thana City Raikot said that a case has been registered against the accused car driver on the complaint of the deceased’s daughter Gurdeep Kaur. The accused has been identified as Lovepreet Singh of Gobindgarh. The police has started investigation.
