The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) of West Bengal launched a new attack on the BJP on Monday and accused it of demolishing its language movement dharna in Kolkata, calling it a strategy of undemocratic, unconstitutional and force using. Chief Minister and party supremo Mamata Banerjee also criticized the saffron party and accused him of playing “dirty political sports”. The temporary structure built next to the Gandhi statue in the Kolkata ground area was removed by the Indian Army. The demonstration was held in protest against the alleged atrocities on Bengali speaking migrant workers in BJP ruled states.

Trinamool said he was allowed to demonstrate and create a temporary structure and alleged that the BJP was misusing power. The party led by Mamta Banerjee said that we respect the Indian Army a lot. It further states that it is a undemocratic, unconstitutional, bullying strategy of a nervous party, which knows that it cannot win the trust of Bengal. The BJP thinks that they can silence us by running shoes to suppress the voices, but Bengal has never bowed to the bullies – whether in the colonial period or under the rule of the landlords of today Delhi.

Mamta Banerjee also targeted the BJP and accused it of using the army for its own benefit and claimed that her party had necessary permission for this and had also paid the fee for it.
