Angelina Jolie’s big statement, ‘Now I don’t recognize America’, worry about freedom of expression

American actress Angelina Jolie said on Sunday that she no longer recognizes her country. He expressed concern over the dangers of freedom of expression by presenting his latest film at Spain’s San Sebastian Film Festival.
His remarks have come at a time when President Donald Trump’s action on critical media and recently conservative influential person Charlie Kirk, after suspending late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s show, is increasing concerns about the freedom of expression in the US.

When Jolie was asked if she was afraid of freedom of expression in America, she said, “I love my country, but at this time I do not recognize my country.”He further said, “Anything, anywhere, which divides or limits personal expression and freedom, and to anyone, I think he is very dangerous.”

Jolie, 50, was in San Sebastian to promote “Couture” directed by French filmmaker Alice Vinocor, who is competing for the festival’s top awards, Golden Shell.

Jolie had a double mastactomy in 2013 and later removed her ovaries and fallopian tubes to reduce the high genetic risk of cancer, killing her mother and grandmother.
Clearly emotional, she said that she often thought of her mother while making the film.Jolie said, “I wish she could speak openly like me, and people would react politely like you, and they would not feel lonely.”He added, “There is a special thing in women’s cancer, because of course it affects us, you know how we feel as a woman.”
