Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will meet Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will leave for New Delhi on Thursday evening. Chief Minister Naidu will meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 22 August.

The Chief Minister will leave for New Delhi from Gannavaram Airport at six in the evening. An official release said that in the meeting with Sitharaman, Naidu will discuss the major development schemes running in Andhra Pradesh and request financial support from the Center.

The states are expected to urge the Center to allocate funds under special assistance (SASCI) and ‘Purvodaya’ scheme etc. for Naidu’s capital investment.

The ‘Purvodaya’ scheme is for the all -round development of some eastern states and Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief will join the ‘Leaders Forum’ at a hotel at 5 pm on Friday evening. The release said that after these programs, the Chief Minister will return to Andhra Pradesh on Friday night.
