Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended a grand ceremony at Defense Expo Ground in Lucknow today, where he distributed appointment letters to 60,244 newly elected police recruits in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present in this program. This recruitment campaign is the largest single police recruitment initiative in the history of Uttar Pradesh. The newly elected recruits have 48,196 males and 12,048 females. During this, Amit Shah said that there were terrorist attacks every day under the Congress rule.
