Smoke does not arise without fire: Amal

Amal said, ‘There will be some truth in the allegations, otherwise so many women would accuse an experienced musician. When Anu Malik was accused during the MeToo movement, I neither said anything nor supported him. This was not my concern because I do not consider him my family. I was very embarrassed when he was accused. We have never had any relationship. But I think if so many people have raised their voice against them, then I think there will be some truth in it. Why do people come and say such things? Smoke does not arise without fire. Five people cannot speak against the same person.

According to Amal, this rivalry was not only about music, but with control and power. He claims that his uncle actively weakened his father’s career opportunities. Every time my father would get a film, Anu used to come back and offer to work for less money or free. He wanted to take away the work. My father was not ready for such a ruthless behavior. He just wanted to make music. “

Amal says that its emotional effect on Dabboo Malik was very high. Amal said, “He started passing through depression from the age of 32 and continued to struggle with this depression for more than a decade. I was a child, but I could feel it. It left a deep impression on me. I started working at the age of 16, I started working at the age of 16, and my inspiration was clear, I wanted to prove that my father’s honor.”

Anu Malik used to take away the work given to my father

Amal told how sad it was to see his father in oblivion. Despite working in about 70 films, Dabboo Malik was often limited to a footnote.

He said that “Nobody used to call him anywhere. He was always called ‘Anu Malik’s brother’. I hated this tag. I just wanted people to stop presenting us as Anu Malik’s nephew. I wanted him to say, ‘Oh, these are the uncles of Armaan and Amaal.”

But Amal does not just call his uncle. He also accused others in the music industry of playing the game at the cost of his father, including the composer pair Sajid-Wajid. According to Amal, there was a time when his father was about to work with director Mahesh Bhatt, but mysteriously the deal got out of his hand.

Talking about work

Amal last gave music for Karthik Aryan’s blockbuster horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 3’. He has not announced his next project yet. Recently, he surprised everyone by announcing the separation from the family.
