All the ‘engines’ of BJP, all engaged in jugaad of ‘fuel’: Akhilesh Yadav

Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday attacked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Center and the state and said that all the ‘engines’ of the ruling party are engaged in the jugaad of ‘fuel’.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yadav also alleged that the trade under the BJP rule is going through an era of economic-social emergency and it is a new kind of ‘Emergency’ over traders.

After attending a meeting of the party’s frontal organization ‘Trade Assembly’ workers and officials at the SP headquarters, Yadav said in a conversation with reporters, “To say this government is of ‘double engine’ and the people of the Bharatiya Janata Party never get tired of saying that this is a ‘double engine’ government.”

He taunted and said that if he looks at his work, the truth will be revealed and today every engine in the government is engaged in fuel jugaad. Yadav hoped to form the SP government after the 2027 assembly elections, saying that after the formation of the government of his party, he will take every step for the safety and respect of the traders and to give convenience to their business.

The SP chief criticized the ruling party over the tax system including the Goods and Services Tax (GST), saying that the BJP from time to time assured the traders that the simplification of taxes would benefit the business, but the truth is that these laws have confused the traders and the trade has come into crisis due to wrong policies.

The SP chief, citing the news of the media, said that 35000 MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) companies have been closed in the country in the last one year. After a meeting held in memory of Danveer Bhama Shah at the SP headquarters, Yadav expressed gratitude to the traders and said that Bhama Shah was not only a donor of his time, but also took a decision in the national interest.

He said that Bhama Shah stood all the time with Rana Pratap and supported him in the battle of Haldighati. A day before this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that his government is committed to the safety and honor of the businessman and daughter in a ceremony organized on Saturday in Lucknow on Saturday and a function organized on the birth anniversary of Danveer Bhamashah and business welfare day.

At the SP headquarters, in a meeting held in his memory on the second day of Bhama Shah’s birth anniversary, State President of SP Trade Assembly Pradeep Jaiswal assured Akhilesh Yadav to support the traders.
