All -party delegation reached Spain to make India aware of India’s policy on terrorism

An all -party delegation of India has reached Spain on a three -day visit under the leadership of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimoi Karunanidhi. The delegation will meet the leaders, officials, Indian migrants and representatives of civil society during this visit and will inform them about India’s perspective about not tolerating terrorism.

The delegation, who arrived here from Latvia on Saturday, is part of India’s diplomatic initiative launched to keep its view in countries around the world after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. 26 people lost their lives in this attack.

The Indian Embassy in Madrid wrote on the social media forum ‘X’, “In the next two days the delegation will meet members of the Spain government, Indian migrants and representatives of civil society and will put forward India’s stand not to tolerate terrorism.”

The delegation will make Spain aware of India’s firm and firm stance against terrorism and will advocate strong international cooperation in dealing with this global challenge.

Mission said in a statement that the delegation, who arrived here under the leadership of a senior MP of the opposition party, reflects a strong national consensus and unity beyond the political line in India’s fight against terrorism.

This delegation is one of the seven all -party delegations that India have tasked to visit 33 capitals around the world. These delegations are presenting India’s approach to the international community, showing Pakistan’s relations with terrorism.

In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India had made accurate attacks on nine terrorist structures in Pakistan, after which Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10.

The Indian side strongly responded to the Pakistani attacks by causing heavy damage to several major Pakistani military establishments including airports, air defense systems, command and control centers and radar sites.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced on 10 May that it has been agreed to stop all types of military actions between India and Pakistan.
