For the first time on such a large scale, cultural and religious places of Haryana are being exhibited. The program has included prominent companies and veteran celebrities related to art, culture, media, film and technology from 130 countries of the world. Not only this, a glimpse of some films like Jhanak Dar Kangana, which was filmed in district Mahendragarh, is also being shown.
According to the film location, the most suitable district of Mahendragarh can be a great place for filmmakers in the coming time. Due to these possibilities, this initiative has been taken by the department.
The event is expected to promote the tourism industry and get new opportunities for local artists and filmmakers. The only radio Aravalli FM-90.40 of the district being run by South Haryana Cultural Forum in the District Mahendragarh district has also been specially invited from the soul scheme of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
Subsidies up to 2 crores are given under Haryana Film and Entertainment Policy-2022 Joint Director Neeraj Kumar, who is watching the pavilion of Haryana on behalf of the Department of Public Relations and Language, said that this pavilion has been installed under the guidance of Director General of the department KM Pandurang. Its main objective is to draw filmmakers to make a film in Haryana.
He informed that the Haryana Government has made Haryana Film and Entertainment Policy-2022. Under this, a provision has also been made for subsidy. In this, the selected films are given subsidy ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2 crore. The main objective of this policy is not only to preserve and promote the folk culture of the state, but also to provide healthy entertainment to people from cinema.
Also, the objective of this initiative is to create employment opportunities in the state. After the creation of the film policy, Haryana has started attracting the producers making film in other languages other than Bollywood with single-window shooting permissions and subsidy incentives.
