Akhilesh Yadav said, caste census will be done correctly in PDA government in 2027

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav stressed on Friday that caste census will be properly done under the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) government in 2027. Talking to the media, Yadav said that in 2027, there will be a caste census in the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) government. Only then the census will be done correctly. Apart from this, Akhilesh Yadav claimed that there is an incomplete museum of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Agra, which will not only be completed by the Samajwadi Party government, but will also install a grand statue of Shivaji Maharaj in Lucknow.

Akhilesh Yadav said, “In honor of a great personality like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj … There is an incomplete museum in Agra, whose architects are world famous … We will not only create a museum in his name, but will also install a grand statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Lucknow Riverfront; Their throne will be made of gold. Socialists will honor them in the same way.” The next assembly election in Uttar Pradesh in 2027 will be between the two most prominent parties i.e. the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party. The Congress is likely to contest elections in an alliance with SP.

The current session has 403 elected members in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, out of which 258 are of Bharatiya Janata Party, 107 Samajwadi Party and 13 are from Apna Dal. Apart from this, nine of Rashtriya Lok Dal, six of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, five of the weak Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal, Jansatta Dal democratic and two each of Congress and only one representative of Bahujan Samaj Party. Earlier today, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attended the ‘Constituent Assembly’ in Rajgir, Nalanda. Addressing the gathering, Gandhi emphasized the need for caste census and criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stand on this issue.
